Can I schedule the delivery?
While you can leave any comments/instructions during the Checkout process, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to deliver at a specific time. If you won’t be home, we will drop the EcoTote with your goods in a safe area. If you want to return another EcoTote with empty containers, please leave a clear note indicating that it is empty and ready for pickup.
Can I return full or semi-full containers and receive a partial credit?
Even if your containers still have all the contents, we always empty them and sanitize them properly. We cannot credit your account for any full or semi-full container. If you want to return a container but you're not quite done with the product, you can always transfer it to a mason jar or container of your own, then return ours.
Can you guarantee my products are allergen free? (Gluten-free, nut-free, etc.)
Unfortunately we can't make any guarantees or claims that our items are completely free from allergens, due to them potentially coming in contact with other items in our warehouse or the manufacturers warehouse. If your allergy is life-threatening, we recommend you avoid the food goods and stick to just ordering the health, pet and cleaning products. See our food safety information for further details.
Do I have to wash the containers?
We know that you are a nice person and may want to do that. :) Simply rinse them, allow them to air dry and place them in the EcoTote. No need to place them in a dishwasher, this is our job. We sterilize each container in our commercial dishwasher before refilling them with new product.
Do I need to be a member to order from the MapleStaple website?
No. You can feel free to place an order to try us out. We know you'll love our service. Once you're done with the containers you can contact us to schedule a pickup or drop them off at our warehouse.

What happens if I loose a container or the EcoTote?
Alas! We have chosen our containers and EcoTotes with love, making sure they’re made from quality environmentally-friendly materials. All the containers and totes are tracked on your account and will be dearly missed. If something is damaged or lost, we will unfortunately have to charge you for it, although we will be happy to credit your account if it is found. We also have a list of replacement fees for containers available on the website.
What kinds of Containers does MapleStaple use?
Our goal is to use only steel, glass or BPA-free plastic containers, as research has shows that BPA, used to manufacture hard clear plastic, can seep into food or beverages and cause us to ingest unwanted toxins. With MapleStaple and our “refill model”, you never need to worry about your health or the environment.
MapleStaple is furthermore committed to the environment by cutting down on unneeded single-use plastics and packaging. We are hoping to be a part of the solution that slows down the 23% of landfill waste that comes from containers and packaging each year. We would love to use less plastic, and will do our best to find the latest green containers that will help us serve our customers, while keeping as much pollution out of the environment as possible.
